The overlap with football and rugby seems to get worse every year. Dunvant batted first and scored 109 all out. Owen Lewis opened and got to 16 quickly and was bowled playing a rash shot. Chris Bridle looked good but was caught on the boundary having scored 21.Ralphy steadied the ship with a patient 26 and was bowled trying to accelerate the score. Nobody else reached double figures.  Grovesend reached their target in 29 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. Richard Pass 23 and Jamie Whitten 31* were the main run getters.  Robert Owen getting 3 wkts, Richard Pass 2 wkts and Paul Howells 2 wkts and only conceded 6 runs in his 8 overs.  Simon Parfitt, Wayne Tucker and Dai Howell each getting one wicket.
