Dunvant 1st v Cwmavon  3/8/08

Dunvant batted first and put on a respectable 206 for 4 on a soft pudding of a wicket at Ashleigh.  Ceri Phillips and Michael Arnold opened, Michael was out to a daisy cutter for 10 in the 5th over just as he was beginning to knock the ball around the park.Ceri was joined by Ian Thompson and between them they took the score to 90 when Ceri was out for 29 in the 25th over.Tommo was then joined by Owen Lewis 12, then Tim Rees 18. The captain Ralph Richards joined Tommo in the 38th over and took the score over the 200 mark to get max bonus points. In the last over Ralph was facing and kept the strike until the last ball with Tommo on 99, he managed to take a quick single off the last ball of the innings to make his 100no.

In reply Cwmavon made 68 all out with newcomer Andrew Jones(ex NE/Sts) getting 3 for 11 in 5 overs and Tim Rees getting 3 for 7 in 3 overs. Ralph Richards, Simon Parfitt and Dai Howell all getting a wicket each.
