The under 14s got their season off to a flying start in a 7s tournament at Tylorstown RFC. Unbeaten throughout the tournament the 14s managed to win every game beating Beddau RFC in the final by 7 tries to 1 to come away as champions.

The boys played some amazing rugby scoring 28 tries on a scorching day in the Rhondda Valley. The boys are really looking forward to the start of the new season and will look to take the confidence from Sunday into their first game.

The coaches were really impressed with the boys’ efforts and it’s clear to see that the pre-season training has gone well. Other teams in the tournament included local rivals Bonymaen, Beddau, Llantrisant, Tylorstown and St Albans.

Our first game of the season will be a stiff test against Cardiff side Rumney at Broadacre on the 1st September.
