14 of Dunvant's finest U9's turned out at 09.45am on a bright September Sunday morning....warm-up started at 10.00am prompt in preparation for the 10.30am kick-off...they practiced rucking, passing and tackling...we had a team talk....and guess what?....an hour and a quarter later(11.15am) and we were still waiting for Gowerton and Ystradgynlais to arrive!...and they never did!

Never a group of boys to throw in the towel...our U8s led by Mike Kingsley challenged us to a game of tag rugby.

All credit to the U8's...they beat us 8-7!...possibly helped by some favourable decisions by the ref...whoever he was! So at least the boys had a run around...and well done to the U8s.

So we've not had a great start to the season as far as playing time is concerned. And who knows?...Penclawdd may not turn up to play us next week either...and it's at Penclawdd!
