Thursday night rugby is a bit of a rarity but with the Fireworks display on Friday and Saturday full of Internationals this was the only time to fit some in.
It was a cold night at Broadarce, but still and dry, so better for the players than the supporters. As this was a local derby and many of the junior sections stayed on after their training to support, a decent crowd was gathered.
Unfortunately there wasn’t much to keep the spectators warm in the first half with both teams failing to score any points.
The second half gave a bit more excitement with both teams exchanging trys with the only difference being a Dannie White conversion after a Sam Crowley try which kept Dunvant ahead 7-5
The game was finished with Steve McMorran sealing the Victory for Dunvant scoring a well worked try in the far left hand corner.
It was good to welcome new players into the senior squad, these being Ed Berry, Peter Deustch and Zac Devey (part of our Youth setup). Thanks to all who supported. Our next scheduled game is on the 16th November back in the Ospreys league away to Kenfig Hill.
