Who knows, some of these Dunvant girls will be wearing the red jersey in a few years time.

Dunvant Girls Report
After a couple of friendly games against West Swansea Hawks and Neath Panthers, the U12 girls kicked off their summer season in style playing Nelson Belles and New Tredegar Chargers, at Cardiff Arms Park, before Wales Women kicked off their Six Nations Tournament against Ireland. The girls took a while to warm up in the game against Nelson but ended with an impressive win against New Tredegar Chargers. The sun shone, it nearly felt like Spring, and we ended the day watching Wales in an impressive and confident win against Ireland! A momentous day all round for Women’s Rugby!
Then hot on the heels of the U12s, our U11s, U9s and U7s headed across the bridge to Stradey Sospans the next day to start their season off in a similar fashion. They played a mini festival against the Sopsans, West Swansea Hawks and Neath Panthers. There were some fantastic skills on show all afternoon and it was brilliant to see the girls’ confidence grow after every game. A great start to the season!
This week in training the coaches worked hard to make sure that the rain did not stop play again! We moved the whole hub into indoor facilities, with 63 or our 80 girls training. A huge thank you to all the coaches for adapting their sessions to make sure they could go ahead. From all the smiles on the girls' faces at the end of training they all clearly really appreciated your efforts too! Also, a big thanks to Upper Killay Community Hall and Ware-House Gym Cwmdu for allowing us to use their facilities, a brilliant example of the wider community pulling together to support girls' rugby in our community!
Everyone involved in the hub is now extremely excited for the summer season ahead!
