New wedding venue for Singers

St Mary’s Church, Clydach was another new venue for The Dunvant Rugby Club Singers for the wedding of BBC Sports Commentator, Edward Bevan’s daughter, Bethan to Edward Knox. The ceremony was conducted with good humour by Rev. Lyndon Taylor supported by the church organist and the church choir.
Eighteen singers and Hywel Evans attended and sang “Myfanwy” and “Gwahoddiad” pre service, and “You raise me up” and “I can’t help falling in Love with you” during the register signing.
There were also readings by Emily Gilcrist, Debbie Knox, Gareth Morgan and Rhiannon James.
The Bride and Groom emerged into the warm Clydach sunshine to the delight of the local well-wishers and photographers.

A big "Thank You" to you all for singing so beautifully at our wedding at St. Mary's Church, Clydach.
We had a fantastic day, and still can't believe how lucky we were with the weather - I told all our English guests that the sun always shines in South Wales!
