Dunvant RFC win against fellow Rugby club Penlan RFC

Penlan batted first and on a slow outfield put on 125-9 off 40 overs.
Life was made difficult for them by some fine bowling from Ralph Richards 8o 3w for 15r, David Wilson 2w for 30r, Andy Jones 1w for 13r, Johnny Welch 1w for 24r, Scott Lewis 1w for 8r and David Howell 1w for 20r. Penlan kept losing wickets and could not get a partnership going.
Andrew Davis top scored with an aggressive 19 before being caught by wicket keeper Ceri Phillips.
