Dunvant beat champions Tower

Dunvant won the toss and elected to field. Tower opened with the prolific Bendles Phil and James. They were put under pressure by some accurate and containing bowling from skipper Ralph Richards 8o 4m 10r 2w and Johnny Welch 8o 3m 18r 2w. Only Phil Bendle looked dangerous with 53 with one 6. John Arnold then produced some fine swing bowling taking 4w for 27r in 6 overs. Backed up by Andy Jones getting 1w for 15r in 8o and Tim Rees 1w for 29r in 8o. Tower finished up with 107 all out.
