Bryn v Dunvant

Bryn batted first and were all out for 54 on a soft wicket that produced some very low balls and the conditions favoured the swing bowlers. Mark Thomas for Bryn seemed to cope best and top scored with 21 which included one 6. The wicket takers for Dunvant were John Arnold 8o 4m 14r 3w. Rob John 4o 1m 11r 3w. Liam McCumiskey 4.5o 2m 10r 2w and Johnny Welch 4o 1m 17r 1w.
In reply Dunvant struggled to cope with the pitch and some fine bowling from Rob Thomas 8o 3m 9r 5w and Stuart Harris 8o 1m 13r 2w. At one stage we were 7 wickets down for 23 runs but the side was seen home by skipper Owen Lewis 17no and all rounder Johnny Welch with another not out with 9 runs. Owen rounded the day off with 2 catches behind the sticks
