Clydach 3rds v Dunvant

Clydach batted first and posted a score of 135 for 9. Opener K Hanney top scored with a controlled 49 backed up by
K Westmoreland 29 and M Squires 16.
Johnny Welch getting 5 wickets for 25 runs in his 9 overs. Lee Tucker 2 wickets for 24, Wayne Tucker 1 for 19 and Andy Jones 1 for 22. The boys fielded well with young Cameron Tucker taking a terrific catch in the field
In reply Dunvant were all out for 127. We opened with captain Ralph Richards standing in for Ceri Phillips who hurt his ankle. Ralphy led from the front with a fine 47 and was last man out while all around him chaos reigned. He was backed up by Gareth John 36 which included 7 fours and Liam Brown 11 which included 1 six and 1 four. Nobody else got into double figures. We succeeded in giving 7 catches in the field. Young Cameron Tucker carried his bat at the end not out.
K Westmorland was the top wicket taker for Clydach also getting a 5 wicket haul for 17 runs in his 7 overs
