Resolven v Dunvant

Dunvant batted first and set a target of 179 for 6. Our batsmen turned up today and most contributed to the score. Liam Brown 11 with 2 fours, Ralph Richards 24 with 2 fours, Ryan Howell 20 with 1 six and 1 four, Rob John 36 which included 2 sixes and 3 fours, Lee Tucker 23 with 1 four and Gareth John keeping up with his twin 30no which included 1 six and 2 fours. I Jones being the main wicket taker for Resolven taking 3 for 37
In reply Resolven were 104 for 5 in their 40 overs. Only A Williams provided any resistance with 40no.They were doing well up to the 20th over being on 64 for 3 at the same stage Dunvant were only 41 for 2. They then decided to shut up shop and go for a losing draw. This gave Dunvant 17pts, we only need 1pt from the next game to up as champions. Ryan Howell had a good spell with the ball getting 2wickets for 22 runs in his 10 overs
