Dunvant v Penlan

Penlan won the toss and elected to field. Opener Owen Lewis went for 16 in the 8th over, but the ship was steadied by skipper Ralph Richards 29 which included 4 fours and man of the match Shane Pienaar, who top scored with 88 which included 7 fours and 3 sixes. A fine knock of 54 from Lee Tucker which included 7 fours and an aggressive knock of 56no from Gareth John which include 5 fours and 2 sixes took the score to over the 250 mark. The innings was finished off with John Welch 5no with 1 four at 258 for 6. In reply Penlan lost 2 wickets for 27 runs by the 8th over but rallied with Dean Norwood 55 with 8 fours and 1 six and Richard Harris 61 retired hurt with 2 fours and 1 six. Tom Jones hit a quick 45 which included 5 fours. Penlan finished on 229 for 8.
