Dunvant 1st v Grovesend

Dunvant batted first and scored 209 for 4. Openers Owen Lewis 55 (who also took 2 catches as wicketkeeper) and Ralph Richards 46 gave a good platform for the rest of the team. They were backed up backed up by our overseas player and ex captain Chris Bridle 15, Tim Rees 37, John Oloan 23no, and current captain Lee Tucker 12no.Only G Griffiths for Grovesend causing any trouble with 2 wickets for 17 runs in 8 overs.

In reply Grovesend were all out for 80. The evergreen Huw James 20 and Paul Howells 16 getting the bulk of the runs.The damage being done by Andy Jones 4 wickets for 10 runs in 5 overs, Lee Tucker 3 wickets for 29 runs in 8 overs, and new boy Johnny Welch 2 wickets for 25 runs in 7 overs, David Wilson 1 wicket for 12 runs in 4 overs.
