Skewen took the lead as Dunvant with 2 men in the bin saw Skewen go 0-3 ahead. Dunvant outside half Richard Lewis levelled the score with a penalty, and a second penalty gave Dunvant a 6-3 lead. Dunvant then scored 3 tries without response from centre Tom Davies, wing Mark Robbins and loose head prop Sam Martin for a 21-3 lead. Skewen mounted a big fightback with 2 converted tries for 21-17 and caused a few nervous moments for Dunvant supporters before the referee called full time, Skewen having to settle for a losing bonus point. Skewen climb up to 9th although they have played more games than those below them. Dunvant go back into 2nd place with Bridgend Athletic dropping back to 3rd whilst playing in the Plate Round 3.
The Dunvant Rugby Club Singers Man of the Match award went to flanker Chris Jenkins whilst Jordan ‘Bonzo’ Jackson earned his 100th 1st XV appearance Cap, well done Bonzo,
