Promoted alongside Dunvant last season as Division 1 West Central winners, Glamorgan Wanderers sit in 9th place with 5 wins, 1 draw, 3 try bonuses and 7 losing bonuses for a total of 32 points but are not yet guaranteed safety from relegation. Missing 6 weeks of activity not having played in the league since 21st January they demolished Glynneath 45-3 last Saturday.
Today will be Dunvant’s first league game in 5 weeks so hopefully they will have shaken of the rust in training as they look to avenge the 47-7 defeat inflicted on us by Wanderers last October in probably our worst performance of the season so far. Although the victories have not been coming, Dunvant have put up some dogged performances throughout the season which was not apparent at the Memorial Ground. With the Broadacre faithful in full song, hopefully we will see the effort our boys are renowned for and at last get a result the boys deserve.
Don’t forget you red and green supporters- respect the Referee, respect the players, respect our opponents and enjoy the game, whatever the result, wherever you are.
Be Loud-Be Proud
