Dunvant Youth’s pursuit of cup silverware is still in a very healthy state after cruising past Dulais Valley with 10 tries.

This one-sided victory takes Rob Murphy’s side into the next round of the District E&F Cup.

It might not have been as impressive or as memorable as the Swansea & District Cup victory at Loughor at the end of last year but this win was no less emphatic.

Dunvant set their stall out early as centre Harry Jones burst through midfield on an angled run for the opening score. He was followed to the try line by Jack Coker, Lloyd Hughes and Myles Matthews as the home side opened up a useful 22-0 interval lead.

After the break Oscar Muxworthy grabbed the first of his two tries before Dulais, who had travelled with a bare 15, broke their duck with a short range try.

But after that it was one-way traffic as Niall Charles finished off a moved down the left, Liam Manning then ran in before Muxworthy burst away from a scrum for try number eightd.

The scoring was finished off in the final five minutes with tries for Lewis Sillitoe and Sam Powell.

Tries: H. Jones, J. Coker, L Hughes, M. Matthews, O. Muxworthy (2), N. Charles, L. Manning, L. Sillitoe, S. Powell; Cons: H. Jones, S. Powell, N. Founds.
