Darran, who played for Dunvant when we were in the Welsh Premiership, was a character on and off the field. Aged only 47 he has been taken from us far too young. He fought his illness as he played his rugby, with bravery and courage.

Our thoughts go out to his wife Gemma , his son Liam and his 3 daughters, the youngest being only 4 years old.

We will advise of the funeral arrangements when known.
