Tough morning for the U12 girls. Having never played Lampeter before we didn’t quite know what to expect from them. First time playing 15 a side, full pitch as well.

First half was tough going, our defence struggled and we found it difficult to get out of our own half or get any momentum going. Credit to Lampeter on their defence, they put us under relentless pressure throughout the whole game.

We did start to find our way into the game towards the end of the first half and our second half was much better. We had the majority of possession in the 2nd half but our issue was making that possession count. When we did manage to go forward it did create opportunities.

Our best opportunity led to our only try. Mollie Allen bossed the pattern of play, calling for the forwards to take it up. This created a gap in the back line which Mollie Allen went through and put Lacey Evans into space down the wing, Hannah Grace Sullivan took the ball on from the following ruck and went over for a well earned try. I have no doubt that when we have the return fixture against Lampeter we will get that win!
