British World Cup Tour
2nd October –4th November 2015
The Tour
Leamington Rugby Sports Club , Waikato Region, New Zealand was founded in 1897. They currently run 4 Senior sides with about 120 players, and are coached by Club Captain Dave Peters who is linked to Dunvant Rugby Club through Stuart ‘Jose’ Jones whose brother Roderick is Dave’s uncle. Their most famous player is All Black no 779 Richard Myers, who played 4 matches in 1978/9. Touring the U.K. and following the All Blacks for Rugby World Cup 2015, they leave for Hong Kong on 2nd October & then come to England playing Leamington R.F.C. before going to on to Newcastle for the All Blacks v Tonga game. Then comes Scotland playing Biggar R.F.C. before going to Liverpool, Manchester and then on to Ireland. In Ireland they will play a game against Nevan R.F.C .and spend time in Dublin before travelling to Wales. After an overnight stay in Pembroke they will be hosted for 2 nights at Dunvant R.F.C. on 20th/21st October, playing a game against us on 20th October. Via Bath they will then go back to London for the remainder of the World Cup and also play an Argentinian team. They will fly back on 2nd November via Hong Long arriving home on 4th November.
The Group
The group will number about 25, 21 travelling from NZ and 4 meeting them in the UK. Those travelling are 3 Under 21’s, 8 Under 30 and 10 aged 40-50. With the exception of 1 couple, all are male. All are prepared with bed rolls & sleeping bags and are hoping we can offer them hospitality in Dunvant members homes during their visit to us.

This is a great opportunity to demonstrate our renowned Dunvant R.F.C. hospitality and for players etc to make new friends on the other side of the world.
