2013 Cultural & Industrial Tour

The weekend report has to be cleared by senior officials at the best signposted visitor attraction in U.K. - "The Secret Nuclear Bunker", Hack Green, Nantwich. A party of twenty-eight departed for their annual Cultural and Industrial tour.
Because of delays on the heads of the valleys road we were delayed and missed the flypast at RAF Cosford, but we were told it was spectacular and saw it on the news.
The Thursday evening was spent entertaining and being entertained at the Newcastle under Lyme Golf Club.Vaughan was on form and so were the Newcastle Centenary Choir who arte based at the golf club.
On the Friday we moved on to Chester via "The Secret Nuclear Bunker", for a "secret" it was well signposted. The evening was spent investigating the historic city.
Saturday morning, on the bus heading for Snowdonia, we're booked on the midday rail ascent to the summit. We sang before, during and after the journey.
The on-board catering staff then served Cheese Sandwiches and Cider at Bettws y Coed. Investigations of the historic city continued on the Saturday night.
A leisurely drive back via a scenic Mid-Wales was made calling for refreshments at Llanbadan Fawr on route. Another boring tour draws to a conclusion.
