Tough Encounter

Dunvant Youth entertained a well drilled outfit in Neath Athletic Youth at Broadacre on Saturday afternoon.

The game was a physical encounter from the off, Neath Athletic scoring three converted tries without response in the first half making the half time score 0 -21.

Dunvant Youth turned around at half time with no team changes for the first five minutes, we then started to ring the changes from the eight replacements. Dunvant being first to score in the second half with a try out wide from Brandon which went un-converted, 5 -21.

Until the final play of the game the score remained 5 - 21 but Neath Athletic snuck over in the corner for the final score of the game. Final score Dunvant 5 - Neath Athletic 26.

This is the last pre-season match. We start league and cup games from next week where only a squad of 22 will be chosen. Attendance at training is essential if you have any intention of being involved in the League and Cup.
