The last time I felt this relieved, I had to pay for it

This season it has been decided to take a North Korean approach to match reports, only report on the positive events.
A team that was has been under a lot of self inflicted pressure at last through off the shackles by making a couple of positional changes, a welcomed influx of our College players support and taking the points offered through the boot.
Antonio had been moved to inside centre from his customary No 8 position primarily to give a target for our attacks and also to help firm up our midfield and a welcome side effect was that the forwards also started playing wider rather than be constrained by one up rugby which has been our weakness all season. Our first try came from defensive pressure that forced Morriston to panic and to be forced back over their own line to concede a 5m try. As the scrums were passive we were able to play under no pressure though we are more than capable in this area as we are in out lineouts, from the scrum Ben Ley fed Antonio going blind against the grain who then gave a beautifully timed pass to put Matthew Richards in the corner. Up stepped Jac to strike a beautiful conversion in from the touchline into the wind.
The match went back and for with some what can only be called baffling decisions which were being felt by both sides and the game struggled to flow at times, however whenever Dunvant had the ball we were the more dominant side with Morristons key players at 8 and 14 being the ones to watch and the biggest concern for us. Dunvant surged forward with Alfie Thomas running like a rhino on speed bouncing and carrying the opposition with him, one such run yielded a penalty in front of the posts that was converted by Jac, we were taking points on offer and ultimately they one us the game. However a defensive lapse straight after when Dunvant stopped playing for a missed knock on saw the Morriston 8 canter in under the posts.
At half time Dunvant led 10-7 with the wind now behind us for the second half, and in the first 5 minutes we had another penalty that Jac slotted over. Then came a bizarre decision with Morristons right winger who has got real wheels flying up the wing a kick forward looked to be covered by Lewis Selfie Rose Miles with both players bearing down on the corner flag Lewis was slightly ahead and a hack on by the winger had it gone straight would have been covered by the winger, but it didn't he hacked it left at a 90 degree angle, both players however continued on the same course Lewis slowed to change direction and their winger ran straight into his back, our cover defence had the loose kick covered easily, but for some apparent reason a penalty try was given, a further discussion was not deemed necessary with the ref in the bar later, but had the result been different I might of been expecting a letter through the door off my neighbours complaining about the way such things are handled.
We did not falter though and as the game wore on our lineout got stronger and Alfie who was playing hooker was thinking about telling Richard Hibbard to look out, we kept pressurising with Jack and Matt starting to win good clean ball. This was putting us on the front foot, and Aaron Perkins who rides the hits early on in the game was starting to come into his own getting the jackles in and working in unison with Rory and our 8 who carried the ball with ease over the gain line, we did miss out on a couple of scoring opportunities, with Jac missing a penalty with a swirling wind that could not be judged easily. Nathan took on board a couple of reminders and threats about carrying the ball into contact and was got over the gain line with his fellow prop another University player. We were starting to play with more confidence spreading the ball to the wings and supporting, with Harry supporting well. One such movement took us to the left wing where Matt Ballantyne took exception to a seemingly rough tackle, our soon to depart Aussie obviously hasn't taken boxing lessons off Russell Crowe, Russell Brand more like it, a melly resulted that saw a few players sucked in , Dunvant played on and Antonio dived in. The conversion was missed by Jac who overcompensated for the kick which was in the same position as the previously missed penalty. From the resulting kick off we surged back down the field, and stretched our lead to 11 when a scrum 5 metres out saw an Alfie barging over with Jac converting.
Then with 13 minutes left we caught the kick off, drove 20 minutes up the pitch for the maul to be collapsed, great penalty for us, nope not so we were penalised for being off side from a kick made from the base of the maul. Morriston pressed again and their 8 stretched to score and bring the game back to 4 points difference. We pressed again with Aaron getting turnovers, but a scrum in Morrsitons 22 saw them spread the ball to their right winger he flew up the wing, However our covering right winger who was deceptively very good in both attack and defence caused him to attempt a hitch kick, unluckily for him the famous Japanese sniper had other plans and he went don't almost as quick as the beers in the club afterwards, we prevailed kicked deep into touch and got our win.
A big thanks goes out to the players who are loyal team players and will not be broken by ego's, it is now 18:15 and only now have I felt well enough to write this cheers boys made my Birthday an enjoyable one, I know we all enjoyed a good drink and food fight and heads on for our next game lads.
