First League Win Of The Season!

In a close contest in the first league game of the season Dunvant Youth came out victors 6 - 15 away to Loughor Youth.

The first half was nip and tuck with each side only exchanging penalties in some end to end rugby where neither side managed to cross the line. Dunvant youth started strongly taking the lead 0 -3 with a penalty kick from centre Joe Woodward. Loughor youth then taking two penalty chances to turn around at half time 6 - 3.

In a tough exciting second half again with end to end rugby Dunvant scored the first try of the game with a team effort try scored by winger Ben Chalk, an exciting team try with the ball passing through many hands!!!! The try was converted by outside half Dannie White.

With Dunvant pushing Loughor hard in the final minutes of the game second row Sam Clarke drove over for his first try of the season,

Starting the league with a Win!! Can't ask for more than that - Keep it up boys!!!!
