Do you know what team means

It seems to be a common theme throughout the club

As Mark Twain once said "It is better to keep quiet and people think I'm an idiot, than open my mouth and confirm it", well here's a take on that "It's better to turn up and act as a team player, even if I don't perform, than to not turn up and prove i'm not a team player", I will leave it to those players in the youth squad to choose for themselves which camp they belong in.
Team players will turn up when injured to support the team, team players will play on whilst injured to stop the team being depleted as they know they have no subs on the bench, team players will not turn up for their first day at work and risk losing their job, team players will come and play as long as they can in a game and leave to work a shift whilst risking being told off for being late, team players will let you know if they can't play well in advance, not 2 hours before kick off because they will know before that time that they are not available, team players will turn up for games when they tell the coaches they are definitely available, team players will play out of their skins when put in a position they do not prefer or don't like, team players do not winge and moan and blame things external to games for a loss, team players will stick together through thick and thin, and put the team before themselves, team players will turn up with hangovers and play, they might winge a bit, but they will be there. Team players will always be winners, will always take criticism as a positive and try their best, and not take every comment personally, its all about being an adult.
For those who are reading this who think it is a rant, its purpose is to point out facts to players within the club.
As for our game , we had a bare 15 who played their hearts out against a more physical team in both size and attitude, we had 3 players who got injured yet played on through the pain, for the team, a few players did buckle in the first half when they needed to stand up and count, with 5 minutes to go to half time, we were 10 nil down, but 2 tries in the last 5 minutes took the score away from us, one of which came from our mistake when time was up, and a charged down kick (the ball hit the player more like it) just after half time on half way which led to a further try quickly extended the lead to 31 nil, we were trailing but were not being overawed, however the rest of the game was ours we had 2 tries disallowed and came close on another couple of occasions, but playing with only 14 players as one player had to go to work for 4, we were brilliant, those boys who played were a credit to Dunvant, and to a MAN, because they stood up and were counted deserved better, especially from the rest of the squad, some of whom and they know who they are let the team down, if we had subs available and a few more 3rd years I have no doubt we would have won.
With training on Monday at the normal time, it will be interesting which team players turn up, those who take on the chin that they have let their fellow players down, or those who are too think skinned to realise that the comments here are about them.
