Dunvant went into the game with a bare 15 with the normal last minute withdrawals, one of which was understandable the others as normal completely unfathomable, don't moan about attendance at games and training if it means that you then don't turn up yourself !!
It is what it is get on with it !
Having said that although Dunvant fell behind to 2 early scores we fought back to be 17-5 down at half time, Bont had a vastly heavier pack and backs who were like sh** off a shovel, with apparently 4 first team players in their backline. We had the lions share of territory and possession in the first half.
However after the break Dunvant started to falter, fresh legs added impetous to Bont, and their pack started to slowly get on top, with the result that the unleashed the kracken "their backs", some who were so sharp you don't even fell them cutting you. This led to a bit of a runaway in the second half though it was probably one of our stronger performances as of late, it had structure to it, and against other teams we have played this year we could well of won, but it is hard to chase shadows, even though there one some players who tackled themselves to a standstill, especially Aaron, Antonio, Alistair and Matt who didn't quite tackle to a stand still but apparently has never been to the WRU offices, he might be lucky and get a lift up to them in the next couple of weeks. The other players all kept going and were eventually ground down, with James playing on one hand and Banf struggling with his calf it became hard to keep our shape.
All we can do is look forward, with a few players becoming available in the run up to Xmas, hopefully we can start getting the results we all deservefor our efforts.
